Rick Walls is a native of Philadelphia who has worked on numerous film (over 35 features) & television projects (over 80 hours of TV credits). He has worked as an AD, producer, segment director and 2nd Unit Director with some of the most preeminent filmmakers in the business. He went on to direct music videos, live television segments, reality television, local and internationally featured commercials and prestigious short films. Projects include budgets from $0 to $65 million dollars and locations range from 39 of the 50 states to France, Italy, Mexico, Jamaica and Canada. His first project; L-EVATED: The Blunt Truth won National TV programming awards (Best Director, Best Informational Narrative), was honored by the BBC as well as Canadian Television. He went on to receive a nomination for an EMMY award as writer and director for A Philadelphia Environment Story, which was an informational piece on the "green" buildings and initiatives in the commercial real estate of Philly. Rick worked on the hit FOX reality show Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy, as a Segment Producer/Director on as well as Joe Millionaire 2 (Italy). He then went on to direct the entire second season of the cable series, Seeing Stars. His celebrated work includes the supernatural short film drama Angle that received an Official selection, CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2009. Mr. Walls went on to direct an independently-produced pilot (½ hour single camera comedy) that was considered by several networks and short films featured on festival circuits: Are You Serious? (L.A. Comedy film shorts), Infidelity (a stylish office comedy, multiple Festival submissions) and Every Dawg Has Day, (an urban, male, LA twist on SATC). Rick has successfully concluded shadowing directors on episodes for Hawaii 5-0 and Criminal Minds and is on the roster to direct those shows. He is in pre-production to direct; an erotic thriller, The Distraction (2015) that will screen in the Bahamas Film Festival in 2016.
