She played Sarah in Deadly Instincts, which was directed by Yemi Morafa. The Perfect Plan and Wind Chasers were directed by Uzodinma Okpechi, where she played the roles of Annabel and Sergeant Florence respectively. Lota Chukwu starred as Shiza; the lead in Royal Arts Academy Student Project, titled Spotlight, directed by Sunkanmi Adebayo in 2014. In 2015, she played the role of Valerie in the award winning movie Falling, produced by Closer Pictures, and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan. Still in 2015, Lota starred as Chika; her first sole lead, in the movie - Fine Girl, produced by Closer Pictures and directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. August 2016, Lota starred as Faridah, the Paralegal, in Inkblot Productions The Arbitration, directed by Niyi Akinmolayan. Popularly known for her sub lead role as Kiki; the gentle, naive but maturing girl from a wealthy background, in Scene One Productions Jenifa's Diary.
