Loni Sanders was born Jennifer Lynn Wren to an American father and a Japanese mother. She was discovered by noted mens magazine photographer Rupert Daines in 1979 and started her career in the adult entertainment industry as a glamor model. Among the mens magazines she did nude pictorials in are "Gallery," "Swank," "Pub" and "Genesis." Her most famous centerfold was in the April 1980 issue of "Penthouse." In 1980 she met adult film star and future husband Mike Ranger on the set of a soft-core picture. She initially acted in hardcore X-rated movies with just Ranger and other women, but eventually began doing no-holds-barred, brazen and uninhibited sex scenes with other male porn stars as well. Her more notable porno titles are Kiss and Tell (1980), Sexboat (1980), 8 to 4 (1981), Never So Deep (1981), Summer of '72 (1987) and Beauty (1981). After divorcing Ranger she quit acting full-time in X-rated movies in the mid-'80s and became a production manager for the porn production company Vivid Video, which was owned by her new lover, Steve Hirsch. However, she still occasionally popped up in non-sexual cameo roles in porno flicks starring fellow 1980s adult cinema queen Ginger Lynn. She split up with Hirsch in 1997. She has been inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and XRCO Hall of Fame. When last heard from she was living in Los Angeles, CA, with her boyfriend Marco.
